📊 Analytics Cookies

Off until you turn them on.

We use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used, so we can unclog the parts that don’t work. Google’s script is loaded with every kind of storage denied, so until you allow analytics it cannot write a cookie or build a profile of you.

📣 Marketing Cookies

Off until you turn them on.

We do not set advertising cookies today: the ads on Verbal Poo are our own and are not personalised, and we do not sell your data. The switch stays in the panel so that if that ever changes, nothing can be turned on without your permission.

🎛️ Your Choice

You choose when you first arrive, and you can change your mind whenever you like: Cookie settings, at the bottom of any page, reopens the same panel. Turning something off is as easy as turning it on.

Your answer is kept in your browser rather than in an account, so it applies to that browser on that device. Clearing your site data clears the answer too, and we will ask again.

Your browser’s own settings can block cookies as well. That works, but it is blunt: blocking the essential ones means you cannot stay signed in.
